` They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose, Nor spake, nor moved their eyes; It had been strange, even in a dream, To have seen those dead men rise…`  ~Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Samuel Coleridge Taylor

Greetings weary traveler, rough seas tonight? Or perhaps you came by the old Mill Road… No matter; the hearth and hospitality of The Seventh Sea are yours all the same. Pull up a chair and sample some of the local flavor. Our whitefish stew is exceptionally renowned… Or perhaps you prefer a steaming cup of tea? Something harder, perhaps? We have it all here… from spiced wines and savory soups to the latest in town gossip. If you like a good story, our troubadours are among the best you'll find, from here to Kartakass. Have you heard the one about the House on Gryphon Hill? I'm sure ol' Salty Tom in the corner there could be persuaded to tell it for a couple fingers' worth of rye… if you've the stomach for it, of course. Just don't get any ideas from what you hear… no one has ever returned alive. But don't let the words of a weathered old tavern keeper dissuade you from staying in our lovely seaside town. Stay awhile, I've rooms aplenty for the renting. The salty sea air, the quiet moors, the foggy nights… I'm sure you'll soon grow to love our quaint, seaside charm, traveler.
